To heal our most fundamental dis-ease, we need to collectively transform our world view; from separation to unity in diversity

We’re struggling with two global dis-eases; the covid19 pandemic, and our collective mis-perception of reality itself. To cure the former, a world-wide search is on for a vaccine. To heal our most fundamental dis-ease, we need to collectively transform our world view; from separation to unity in diversity.

Stopping us in our tracks and despite its great challenges, Covid19 is also reminding and re-hearting us what connects us, rather than what apparently separates us. Our collective compassion is discovering numerous and co-creative opportunities for its expression. And we’re also seeing, freed of our pollution, Gaia’s powers of restoration and regeneration.

The collective dis-ease of our worldview, is our mistaken perception of reality as being ‘separate’ and solely material: that there’s an ‘Us’ and ‘Them’ where competition is key to survival and scarcity is endemic. Unless, though, we heal from the inside out, we can only moderate its symptoms of dysfunctional behaviors and related traumas.

To support our healing, a new scientific and evidence-based wholeworld-view is emerging that integrates with universal wisdom teachings and spiritual experience, revealing the true nature of unified reality and transcending the illusion of separation.

Its science of love can help us heal our most fundamental dis-ease and empower us transform our global emergency into the emergence of our conscious evolution.

Question: How do you nurture the wholistic health of yourself and others?

lyrics
How did you end up here?
You’re looking so confused
whoever told you this was something you might lose
I see you sitting there
You’ve simply lost your way
You know the sun is going to shine again on you someday

Cause it’s a long way back
to where you come from
Gonna see yourself shining in the sun and
it’s time to look ahead
to where you’re going everything will be just fine

You know I love you
You know you love you too
let’s change this color scheme from
screaming red to bright blue

Cause it’s a long way back
to where you come from
gonna see yourself shining in the sun and
it’s time to look ahead to where you’re going everything will be just fine

Feeling jaded
complicated
trying so hard
to rise above

Cause it’s a long way back to where you come from
Gonna see yourself shining in the sun and
It’s time to look ahead to where you’re going
everything will be just fine
Cause it’s a long way back to where you come from
Gonna see yourself shining in the sun and
it’s time to look ahead to where you’re going
everything will be just fine
You gotta free your heart and
Shine

We invite you to gather with us as we explore what it means to promote greater understanding amongst our different faiths and walk beside each other through difficult periods of social upheaval and religious discrimination.

Rafiqa Abdul Rasheed and Linda Toia will share the story of how they met through the Interfaith Peace Walk and became dear friends— transcending and embracing their disparate histories, faith traditions, and different racial experiences.

The Philadelphia Interfaith Peace Walk is in its 18th year of facilitating peace, justice, and reconciliation by engaging faith groups and other communities in dialogue, reflection, and action through an annual Interfaith Peace Walk. We will offer a brief video of highlights from past walks. Last year we engaged in our first virtual walk. As we continue to connect in online spaces we are finding new ways to accompany each other through this period of grief and transformation, bending the arc of our community towards justice.

We will provide an opportunity for your questions and thoughts.
