In reclaiming and restoring the presence and power of the sacred feminine and re-consecrating the sacred marriage of the feminine and masculine, we can heal, into-great and soul model what it means to be authentically human.
 
The ancient concept of the sacred marriage, perceived the complementary roles of sacred feminine and sacred masculine attributes within our human psyche. It recognised the need for their healthy co-existence and mutual support on inner and outer levels of consciousness and embodiment, if society as a whole is to be healthy.

Yet, progressively, the voice and heart-centered wisdom of the sacred feminine and her attributes of inclusion, interconnection, collaboration and valuing the primacy of love, have gone unheeded.

In dismissing the value of the sacred marriage and the vital role of the sacred feminine, our collective psyche has been wounded. Missing its innate unity, has driven a world-view of separation and dysfunctional relationships within humanity and between ourselves and Gaia.

In reclaiming and restoring the presence and power of the sacred feminine and re-consecrating the sacred marriage within and between us, we can heal, into-great and soul model what it means to be authentically human.

When the attributes of the sacred masculine and sacred feminine are healthily balanced, wisdom teachings speak of the ‘birth of the sacred child’ within us; its evolutionary impulse surging through us enabling us to fully embody our sacred and divine nature and consciously evolve.

Historically, the focus on women’s empowerment has centered on five pillars: health, education, economic empowerment, freedom from violence, and equality. There are two anchor pillars – Reconnecting to Mother Earth and Restoring the Sacred Feminine – that when merged with the core pillars will lead to a release from oppression for women and children around the globe.

Elisabeth Williams will share her program entitled “7 Pillars of Women’s Empowerment and the Divine Feminine Rising”. The 7 Pillars will guide you to identify where in the social impact space you are called to serve at this pivotal time on the planet and how all of our impact is inter-connected and vital.

We’ll then weave the 7 Pillars with Sommer Joy Ramer’s 8 Garden of Joy Portals in a one of a kind synergistic transmission. Through a guided movement journey you will experience an introduction to these portals found within that are illuminated by the “dance of joy” and blossoming of your personal purpose.

The purpose of this event is to provide a safe space for immigrant/refugee community members to discuss and share approaches to wellness and resiliency. Over the past three years, Interfaith Philadelphia has equipped hundreds of youth and adults from all walks of life with some key tools to being a great interfaith ally. Join Interfaith Philadelphia staff and fellow community members for a workshop that provides opportunities to learn about and exercise the skills needed to intervene with family, friends, and colleagues to combat discrimination and prejudice and to build peace. Rooted in bystander intervention techniques, this workshop specifically focuses on how to address religiously-focused hate speech and discrimination.
