The supposed “Clash of Civilizations” is actually a “Clash of Ignorance” which preys on that ignorance to breed hate and often leads to violence – and much worse.
The only antidote to this dark spiral is knowledge. This conference, and my mission, is to focus on the rich touch-points of commonality among our venerable faith traditions and celebrate our differences in true pluralistic fashion rather than abuse those differences to breed hatred and persecute the “other” – our communities, nation and the world would be a more tolerant, pluralistic and inclusive space for all members of the Human family to share.
